Snapchat is rolling out two new features for its Sounds product. Users can add licensed song clips, excerpts from TV and movies, and their own original audio to their Snaps and Stories. The company says videos created with music from Sounds on Snapchat have collectively resulted in over 2.7 billion videos created and over 183 billion views. This is great news for creators as it signifies an increasing trend of Snapchat integrating music into its platform in order to create engaging content. This will give creators more opportunities to reach a wider audience, and potentially make some money from their work.
