Sega has filed a new trademark filing for a potential NFT gaming platform. The Japanese company is exploring the possibility of using non-fungible technology. Sega CEO Haruki Satomi recently said the company would be considering its NFT approach carefully. Sega is not the only video game developer to have become enthused by talk of NFTs. Ubisoft announced an entire NFT- and blockchain-focused gaming platform, known as Quartz, back in December, while Konami has revealed plans to flog NFT pixel art and music tracks to celebrate Castlevania's 35th anniversary.
